IMAGING/ ABHILASHA BHUJBAL/ WEEK 10

Today Ma’am started the class by asking us to write down 5 good qualities about ourselves. I wrote:

  1. Creative
  2. Diplomatic
  3. Adventurous
  4. Loving
  5. Empathetic

Ma’am then told us a faster way to change foreground or background colour of an object. First we need to make sure the object made is in the background and then choose the selection and clicl Shift + Backspace which will open a pop up window and then select the foreground or background option and click Ok.

Ma’am then taught us Content Aware Option. The Content – Aware option in the patch tool synthesizes nearby content for seamless blending with the surrounding content after removing any unwanted object from the image. I used two images, one in which I removed freckles of a boy and the second one in which I removed a person from the scenery. To use the tool:

  1. Open an Image(Click on File and press open so that the image is on the background of a new canvas)
  2. Using the different Marque Tools (Rectangular, Elliptical) or Lasso, Polygonal Lasso Tools select the unwanted object in the image
  3. Click Shift + Backspace (Opens up a tab)
  4. Choose the Content Aware Option and click ok

Ma’am then taught us about Content-Aware Move Tool. Content-Aware Move Tool is used to move parts of an image and automatically fill the left out area. There are two options in this tool: Move and Extend. They appear in the options men after choosing the Tool.

The Move Option is used to move an object from Image.
