We learnt how to use the gradient, blend, clip mask and magic wand tool in photoshop during this class. It took me some time to understand the magic wand tool and clip mask together because it included several steps but it was not as difficult as I thought it would be, Ma’am made it quite simple for us.

We started with the gradient tool-

• Using Gradient Tool on pictures by decreasing its opacity:
  1. Select a picture.
  2. Make a new layer.
  3. Fill the layer with Gradient.
  4. Decrease the Opacity.
• Applying the Gradient on the picture and then using Blending modes to merge the picture with the Gradient:
  1. Select a picture.
  2. Make a new layer.
  3. Fill the layer with Gradient.
  4. Click on “Normal” (above layer) and choose which type of Blend suits the picture.

I edited the pictures below using 3 different pictures:

1. Open one picture in Photoshop.
2. Place another picture on top of the existing picture.
3. Use Blend Tool and blend those pictures.
4. Open one more picture.
5. Use the Blend tool again to give a nice effect.
